A heated on-air clash rocked the screen of LAM when Verónica Ojeda called the program visibly furious to confront Marisa Brel, after the panelist once again mentioned a version from nearly 20 years ago about a supposed pregnancy of Diego Maradona's ex-wife. According to what the Argentine News Agency (NA) was able to find out, the conflict broke out when Brel recalled an episode that occurred in 2005 during a family gathering, in which —according to her account— Maradona would have announced that Ojeda was pregnant. At one of the most tense moments of the crossfire, Ojeda focused on the family impact generated by these types of statements: "I have a 13-year-old son, Dieguito Fernando, who hears and sees everything. I said that Diego announced it at a party." However, the explanation failed to calm Ojeda, who interrupted her sharply: "I don't want to talk to this nefarious person." The tension continued to escalate when Marisa stated that she had sources and witnesses who backed up her version. "I have 30 years of career in television." And she closed with a categorical sentence: "I'm not going to allow you to talk about my privacy from 20 years ago and what I suffered." Ojeda, indignantly, threw out: "Agency NAY lies, lies." She was especially harsh with the panelist: "I don't consider you a journalist. A little respect for the mothers who really want and fight to have children." Faced with the accusations, Brel tried to defend herself and clarify her position: "I didn't say you were pregnant now. That party happened, your whole family was there. You have no codes, dear. I talked to a lot of people from there and you know it's true." Verónica's response was even more forceful: "You are not a journalist. Being a woman who had a hard time being a mother, who had to rent a womb to have children, you should have mercy on other women."
